Nepal is a developing country with extensive tourist facilities which vary widely in quality and price.It is a country in Southern Asia, between China and India.It has suffered from political instability for almost 11 years. From the world's 10 highest peaks Nepal contains 8 peaks, including Mount Everest - the world's tallest peak - on the border with Tibet.Nepal was declared as a secular state on May 18,2006 ,by the interim parliament of nepal. On December 28, 2007, the interim parliament passed a bill and declared Nepal to be a federal democratic republic. The current king, Gyanendra, will be the last king of Nepal if the present ruling parties win the elections held in April 2008. Nepal's flag is the only national flag that is not quadrilateral in shape.The fuel dependency in Nepal is on wood.for this purpose they are cutting trees without replanting them as a result there are the problems of deforestation and water pollution.   [read more]
